Manchester City have revealed that their top scorer Erling Haaland has an ankle injury and is set to see a specialist but is not expected to return in time for the Club World Cup in June. The

24-year-old Norwegian striker was forced off after a collision with midfielder Lewis Cook in the second half of their 2-1 win at Bournemouth to reach the FA Cup semi-finals.
Haaland left the pitch wearing a protective brace and walking with crutches. The Citizens then released a statement on his condition on Monday:
