“I was fit, I felt good, I had to fight the weather a little bit. and revealed that he was fit before the game with Southampton But I didn’t rehearse. I was in bed for a few days and at half-time I felt it, but I was fine.
“I’ve never had any contact with Gareth, but I don’t think it’s unusual. When I was summoned in 2019, there was no contact. So I’m not worried about that.”
